To Brian Damage: He does. I didn't d/l the beta, but I did snoop through some sounds files I had found on the net - curiosity got the better of me. Anyway; Kleiner has some hilarious lines, especially when he gets sarcastic.

I never realised that ML only really wrote the story of halflife once they'd done most of the game.

Oh well, at least VALVe brought in a professional writer, instead of telling the graphics programmer to come up with a storyline three days before the game shipped.:E
