It's allways the same when they change Bonds, is like now, when they say James Bond, you automaticly think about Pierce Brosman.

How old are you? I'm only 16 but I always thing of Sean...he was the best bond, hands down.

I really like Eric Bana in Troy.... and everyone had a british accent in that :p

With diffrent hair, I could see him as bond.

Meh. Pierce Brosnan > that 73 year old coot ;)

No, but seriously, Brosnan redefined Bond. Connery has nothing on him, IMO.

Pierce Brosnan fit the idea I had of what James Bond should have been before there was any talk of him being the next 007. He looked, sounded, and acted more like the character of James Bond portrayed in Ian Fleming's books than Sean Connery ever did. I don't quite know, yet, what to think about the choice of Eric Bana as 007.

That is utterly disgusting, he isn't even bloody English. Clive Owen would of been far better, well, anyone could be better then this idiot and Pierce Brosnan.
what are you on about? pierce brosnan was an awesome bond.

He's not going to be james bond... it was fake news :) dont panic :D

Timbo Dalton was the Bond. Cold, callous, mean'n'nasty side to him. The Living Daylights is still my fav Bond flick; w/ FRWL, GF, TB and GE filling the rest of my top five.

'Pirs Bonbons' (as in, so beloved by the housewives) is a little too cartoony. It's not totally his fault really as he's been stuck in some dreadful scripts that would suck the life out of any performance: added to which are the constantly blazing machineguns and endless explosions, utterly unbelievable ('WTF was that?' *bleh*) stunts and action sequences, ridiculous concepts (invisible car anyone?) and so on. He's no longer Bond, he's chief manniquin in a forgettable popcorn ack-shun flick.

My pick for new Bond would be Jack Davenport (best known for playing Commander Norrington in Pirates OTC). Check out the Brit vampire series Ultraviolet to see him play a nastier Bond-like character. That he's a virtual unknown would only help haul the series back from the brink of self-parody.
