Ah i'm 16, but that's disgusting. NO the legel age of consent should not be lowered in our fine country. I find it disgusting at the thought of some 40 year old jacking off to some teen.

Hey but I rad that here in holland people were convicted for watching cgi kiddie porn, so do you duys think this should be so, because there are no real children invlolved. I still don't know quit yet, but I think I'm leaning towards the people that say it should be allowed, cause those peopel get off on it and no kids are hurt in the process. But on the other hand maybe this would make them just want more, and real, but I don't know. Thats why I would like to see your opinion on this.
 
That's the whole point, fox. People get off on it. Don't you find that disgusting? How in anyones mind would they find anything appealing about kiddie porn, anyone below 18 should not be allowed to model.

Well, you get the picture. As far as I was aware, it was 14 but hey.
All that said, I believe the Netherlands has one of, if not the lowest rate of teenage pregnancies in the EU.

God, that's sickening. I thought 16 was low, but 14, even 12, it just makes me sick. Pedophiles beating off to such innocense, it does not matter the criminals age. They should always be sentenced the same time. And yes, I AM 16

Seriously, the world isn't filled to the brim with paedophiles, and besides it's a hefty accusation to make without some pretty solid evidence. I really doubt the police have this a long way down their list of priorities.

I whole heartidly agree, I don't know how anyone could argue the differ. It is sickening no matter the offenders age.
 
Well people do speculate behind what child pornography do to pedophiles. Do they entice molestation or do they in some ways relieve such temptations and sexual hunger of pedophiles? I mean can such things alleviate men of these nature. So would outlawing such things make cases of molestation higher?

I mean shit, 98% of guys jerk off from the age 16 and up. Porno got alot of guys through highschool. I mean it is a scary thought that if we get rid of child pornography, those pedophiles who would only beat off to the crap actually act upon it. Of course there are arguments such things may desentize pedophiles so that they act upon such urges even more.

What pornography can do is a complex matter. Especially in terms of that kind of stuff. But you know, pedophilia is alot more prevalent than you think amongst people. It is kind of scary. I mean I have known at least two guys who have child pornography. I have always known them to be friendly and nice guys. But of course that didn't tell me about their perversity. I was a little nosy with their computers and found that little dark side to them.
There was also a kid at my school who got a preacher arrested for attempted sexual assault charges.
And everyone knows what happened a few years ago with the Catholic Church. As far as I'm concerned, pedophilia has been a problem since humans were ****ing, and always will be that way.

Oh and by the way the other line to "If there is grass on the field, play ball." is "If there is no grass. Go to the other side of the fence and play with the mud."
 
taeil234 - that's a very interesting point. It has been proposed by many that pornography can help lessen the instances of rape because it leads to potential rapists "alleviating themselves" shall we say...
However I would say that child pornography is different as it still involves, by its very nature, sexual abuse against minors.
