new laptop, need advice on these 3

ok heading back off to uni next month and i wanna get a new laptop. so far i have come up with these 3:
(they are all from novatech btw)

I will be doing alot of web design, programming and games!

What do you guys think? i know i aint gonna get an amazing machine for games for £1000 and under....

I would go with the 3rd one if you are only looking at these 3- it has the best processor, fastest RAM, and probably the best out of the 3 in terms of graphics.

yeah? i mean if anyone has any alternatives i would love to know. what exactly is the ATI RS480M?

Its an integrated gfx card isn't it? It actually looks ok, but im pretty sure that the 9700 would be better- not 100% on that tho.

Just over 1K. A bit expensive, but Dell's are good laptops- trusted brand etc.

yea but the pentium m processors are really god so you may want to get the 2nd choice

The pentium m processors are actually damn fast and good for battery life! But if the laptop is staying in one place always being plugged in to the mains then the A64 would be my choice. I think that the 9700 would be the best graphics chipset would be teh best one to go for but I don't know much about them so don't take my word on that.

Pentium M and a Geforce GO 6800 Ultra would be best.

Although that 6800 would probably add to the overall weight of the machine.
