i have resently started mapping for cs:s and hl2 and im doing ok but my mate has asked me to try and make a bouncy castle but i cant do it any one now any thing about this? help!!!. also the blue origins dont show up in CS:s is this common or have i done something wrong
 
1.) what's a bouncy castle?
2.) what's are the 'blue origins'?

sry fella, I'd love to help but I don't know what the heck you're talking about. Give a detailed description of these things and you'll have more luck.
 
a bouncy castle is basically a huge material thing filled with air - when you jump on it you go higher...like a trampolene but large scale. The blue origin he talks of i think is the little blue sphere that appears when you have an entity...

To answer original question...i dont know sorry.
 
well, perhaps if you combine a trigger on the ground with a func_push or w/e its called, and have its force decrease, you might be able to pull it off, i'm not sure, its sort of a long stretch.
 
I just got an idea on how you could make the castle look like it was filled with air.

Set up the top face to a displacement map, and use a small amount of the terrain_morph entity. Get a trigger_once or multiple to alternate between two different terrain_morphs and it should look like air is flowing through it. *

*May or may not be possible
