For a start they're working on new maps, like de_prodigy is the next to be released.

And anyway if it did happen, someone would buy it then release over P2P and such.

You buy the game, part of this is that you get the content of the game. Extra patches and additions that wouldnt make a whole expansion pack would be part of service expected to come with buying a game.

not to mention i'll probably be getting TF2 and CS2 (when they are available) and of course a HL2 expansion pack is a no brainer.. so yeah they do and will have a shitload of my cash and more. :|
