Hopefully we'll see something at Tokyo Game Show now in September (22-24).

I'd like to actually start seeing how the gameplay will work, y'know? I mean, it looks amazing at the moment, but when I say looks I mean what I have actually seen so far which, at the moment, is lots of really cool footage of battles in the street between the soldiers and their machine/cow thingys and the (what I presume) Middle Eastern soldiers (if that) in the trucks. Of course, theres also the encounter with the machine things that Snake does, and Raiden kicking all sorts of metal ass, but how will it play? I can sort of imagine, but I'd like to start seeing it.

But other than that, I love the battle footage already shown. The Middle Eastern soldiers in the street, the guys getting shot off the back of the trucks, the soldier sniper teams, the soldiers movement down the street (covering fire, patting the shoulders, etc), the cow-machine things, the APC and the soldiers moving down the road, the helicopters flying other... etc etc etc. Looks brilliant.

I just want to see the other environments since it is supposed to be similar to Russell Crowe, fighting around the world and such...

the only thing I'm turned off by is the "moo'ing" metal gears. I mean wtf.. Why make a game so realistic, gritty, and beautifull, then make your robots have farm animal sounds?

I think those metal gears might be part organic, part machine like the synths.

yeah I could see that, I just always thought it was some psuedo way of giving the impression of power, and kind of maintaining a metal like friction sound... I don't know how to explain what I'm saying here, I hope you understand lol

Alas, I won't get to play this for a long time the way the PS3's going. By then, someone might've spoiled the entire thing for me.

If you played the other Metal Gear Solid's, pretty much all of them make a animalistic-war cry. This one just happens to... 'moo'.
