2 Years ago my Mom bought a BASENJI (dog) from someone in Georgia for $1000, It's a show dog, Originally imported from Africa in the 1800's (Native African Hunting Dogs). She was going to breed it, but we found out that it's "Defective". It has a genetic disorder in it's hips (Not fatal, or noticable to the untrained eye). But since we can't show that dog anymore or breed it my Mom got a new dog from the same person. This one has no problems, so it's breedable and showable, my Mom got this one for free on account of the "Defective" last dog. So now we have Two of these dogs, that are originally pack hunters (instinctivly), So when they are playing, they will play in "Packs"

so.. Umm.... Please pray for my life?

It's a really cute little puppy, my old one (Male) is still a puppy, just a bigger puppy.
The new one Is a Female. Don't worry though, my old Dog got nudered (sp?), Poor guy..

My old one is a Black and White BASENJI, My new one is a Tri-Colored BASENJI

The one in the Tri-Colored pic lookes EXACTLY like my new puppy.

Edit: Nevermind. I was being mean. Sorry.

Why are we supposed to pray and why the hell will praying do anything?

Those are cuuuuuuuute! I like the ears. So your mom's going to take them to shows and stuff?
(And please, stop capitalizing the first letter of every word. Please.)

It's a joke, I think...

'Cause the dogs will 'hunt' him down, in a 'pack'.

The second pic looks like animal pron... :) wait arent that 2 completely different races on those pix?

Personally I like bigger furry dogs more than small skinny ones but Iguess its a matter of opinion. :)

Last time I took a puppy home, my mom wouldn't let me in the house :( .

I agree ...plus mongrels usually come from pounds who would otherwise euthanize them if no one adopted them

cant say I agree with breeding show dogs but good luck, just make sure they know you're the leader of the pack

Sorry, I just felt it was appropriate.

I'm a huge dog lover. Those dogs you have there are cool looking. I had two dogs for the last ten or so years and the second of those two just died a few weeks ago so I'm dog-free again unfortunately. I had two australian shepards. I got one from the pound and liked it so much I bought a full-bred one next. Great dogs and I'd get them again, but I'm going to save a couple dogs from the pound when I buy a house. Apartments and dogs don't mix. Hope I can find more Aussies.

That dog looks like you could shout at it and make it's spine congeal.

German Shepherds ftw

Jesus H. Christ, I would assume a 200 year old dog would have hip problems..

Basenji can't bark, right?

Yea, They can't bark but they "Yodel", it's kind of wierd to hear it at first but you get used to it. They acually can bark, but only one bark at a time and very rarely do they bark, my old dog is barking alot at the puppy though, it's so funny to hear these dogs bark! lol!

Here are there "Yodels", There are no barks recorded, and I don't have a microphone to do it myself, sorry you can't hear them bark, but hearing them Yodel is funnier.

Also, it is freakin hilarious to see there tails wag! They usually don't wag there tails, but they do when they are really happy, sorry you can't see that either - it's really funny to see there tails wag though...

Oh ya, I measured the puppy and it's height is 10 7/8 inches and it's length is 14 1/2 inches.

wow those are some nice dogs man. i wanted to get a dog too, but damn they're pretty expensive. so i just settled for a big fish tank with 2 snakeheads.
