I'm actually looking forward to Tomb Raider, loved the 1st and 2nd now it's redone with Legends' graphics (thats what it is right?), looks good.

I'm not one for racing sims, but Colin McRae: DiRT looks damn good, I might actually get it (first next-gen racing game for me?)

Please be aware that google images could show an image from a different game, a pre-rendered cut scene, a movie, concept art, or even something completely unrelated. The search engine might take something completely out of context.

For example, if someone in a forum said, "Doom 3 looks pretty good, but Prey looks even better." the search engine might post a picture of Doom 3, when I searched for Prey, because it saw the word Doom+3 under the image.

Anway, just make sure you guys are aware of that.

If there is a next time, I might use a link to a video game site like IGN or Gamespot screenshot viewer. I just hate them because they are filled with spammy pop-ups and advertisments, and bogged down access times.

Google images is pretty fast, and can switch from images directly to information on any site so that's why I used it.

BTW WTF is this game Overlord. Lmao that's insane!

I thought I had seen that game somewhere, now I remember, I've seen that game on benchmark tests.


The source I used is from April and is not always correct even when up to the minute. I figured it would be off on a couple of the games. It's still a good guide though - unless the only game you want is the one that is wrong.

Yeah, PC gaming has been sucking for a year or 2 now, not many awesome games.

I beg to differ. Last year we saw the release of Oblivion, HL2: EP1 and Company of Heroes and this year we got SupCom and C+C 3. Not too bad IMO.

I concur. Too many bugs, balance issues, and not to mention the texture lods.

LODs werent an issue for me, I'm not much of a graphicswhore and the bugs werent ALL that awful, my main issue was the awful scaled levelling system, it's so lame when every bandit in the game and his mother wears the games supposed most rare armor..

Gunner, there is an unreleased DX10 patch for CoJ that has been in the work for quite some time.
I'm guessing that's what they are using.

Ooooh. Man that must be a lot of work to make a patch to go from dx9 to dx10. Wonder if Valve will consider doing the same eventually.
