New saints row video

Looks like I've made a lot of mafia enemies! Just please don't make me an offer I can't refuse!

Mafia's contros certainly wern't as smooth as GTA controls & it was a LOT slower than GTA. It had it's strong points though, like the story.
 
EVERY PART of Mafia was awesome. The levels, were indeed linear, but they were so AWESOME! Dude, like the brothel one. You blast your way out of there, are pursued across a block of rooftops, stumble across the funeral of a guy you killed, and then escape in a hearst! It was particularly awesome for me because my vehicle overturned outside a railstation, and I hopped on the train as it escaped, police bullets whizzing by me. Their cars even FOLLOWED the train until we crossed a river.
 
They dont seem to have any motorbikes in the game...pitty,coz they would kick ass with the ragdoll.

"its a very generously proportioned game world,probably about the size of GTA's vice city and there are absolutely no restrictions on where you can travel within it.you could travle to all four corners of the map without completing the first mission if you wanted to.youll proberly already be familiar with the gameplay if youve played gta.Core story missions are available at the starting point,and beating the first couple opens up branching storylines across the various parts of the map.there are nearly 100 bonus missions to complete too.As well as having side stories of their own,these also boost your cash and respect meters.Gaining respect is crucial because often youll be unable to enter a story mission unless the saints believe youre up to the job.respect has other privileges to,such as giving you up to 3 AI-controlled homies.these deviant devotees will follow you around and help you to pop some caps in cops and rival gangs.The more your respected by your friends,the more youll be feared and loated by your rivals.rolling into enemy terrirory and gunning them down will increase your notoriety meter,meaning that theyll pursue you with a vengeace later on.The same gose for cops.The more you kill,the more theyll send after you,climaxing in the standard showdown with SWAT team members and choppers.INSURANCE FRAUD:after meeting a dodgy attorney,youre advised to make a quick buck by throwing yourself in front of traffic.The harder your hit by the oncoming traffic,the more money your awarded in damages.bounuses are given for hitting more than one car befor you land,and witness bounuses also give you a score boost.thanks to the games excellent ragdoll effects,these missions are pretty funny.Physics and ragdoll effects are the areas where saints row improves over san andreas.its fun to be able to crash into a postbox and see it barrel down the street,smashing through a crowed of people like a bowling ball."

WEAPONS
the guns in saints row dont come with much ammo,but there are plenty of them.pressing the B button brings up a weapon-select menu.you can only carry one pistol,shotgun,smg,rocket launcher and thrown weapon at a time.

CARS
there are to many cars to count in saints row.there not licensed,but at least they look the part and handle vary well.its vary easy to shoot and drive at the same time which is a major bounus.

this looks like a game that I might have to get.

Plus running in place while hitting a guy is really annoying to watch. Hopefully it won't be as noticeable whilst playin'...

It even takes immature jokes from GTA like the sign in that one shot that says "You can't beat our meat!" Ragdolls are cool but from the videos I've seen, there's no thud sound when you hit them with a car or when they hit the ground which is weak. I don't know... it's too blatant of a rip off for me to appreciate it. I don't have an Xbox 360 anyway.

no,but some people got it early from stores that already have it but aint suppose to give it out,im gona try get it today at toys r us

He got a delay and a double post because instead of hitting the edit button, he pressed the 'back' button on his browser. He then edited the post, and hit 'Submit Post' again four minutes later.

It can all be avoided by not pressing 'back' to change a post - instead, use the edit button. At least I'm pretty sure. It happened to me a few times when I joined here.
 
A few people have got the demo and are saying that the game is awesome.
 
I need to know if the demo is region free damnit.. Or when/if it'll be released on XBL soon :'(
