pleeeeease say this is the last time i will hear of that green skinned toad thing. I hate that movie! i'd happily rather kiss a pokemons arse than watch the second incarnation of pure green.

How can you hate that movie? What is so wrong with it?
 
tbh, i dont like it much either, i didnt find it that funny at all. ill probably watch trhe second one though, as the trailer looked pretty funny, but im not expecting too much from it.

well its not so much that i hate this movie in particular its just that i hate all movies in this genre. i dont mean the looks- (for instance toy story 0wned ;) ) but just the characters, storyline etc. Maybe the difference between the two is that when toy story came out the characters were great, the storyline fun and the concept original. but in the time between toy story and shrek there have been so many other 3D films it all just gets a bit boring. And the one last that really makes it bad for me is that the main character is a green blob of flouresant frog goo titled 'ogre'.
But some people just like the kind of shallow humor and stuff, plus its great to show kids. The movies done quite well, i mean they couldnt improve it in anyway that would change my opinion on the foundations, if u know what i mean.
 
Well at least you don't hate it cause it's "kiddy", i'm excited about it, i saw a trailor in the theaters and that's all i need. I hate watching too many trailors cause then half the good lines are ruined for ya.

Like scary movie three would have been a funnier if they didn't show off all their clever gags in the previews.
 
Looks suprisingly better than I expected from the first trailer. Anyone heard anymore news on a proper Kill Bill Vol 2 trailer. I've seen the japanese one where she's walking thru the desert and the other where she's in the car set in black and white, but not a proper one.
 
i dunno how people didn't like the first one. Eddie Murphy was hilarious in the first one. Its good cause little kids can watch it but they put jokes in there that only someone whose a little older would get. Like the joke about the prince having a big castle because he's compensating for something little. Second one looks pretty good by the trailers too.
 
I love Monsters Inc. but Shrek is better because of the Candy-man

I don't know about you guys but I'm just itchin to buy Kill Bill on DVD. Anyone know when it hits stores? I havn't heard anything.
The part when she cut off that girls arm and she was bleeding gallons upon gallons of blood on the floor and kept wriggling...that was funny

Or the part when the girl spun around on the floor and chopped off all the guys ankles, and the guys picked up the foot and screamed...that was funny

Of course, by funny I mean in a sick a twisted way =)

I have never even seen any of the kill bill movies... I dont see whats so great about them... and Urma Thurman however you spell her name is ugly as all hell.
 
The first Shrek was great... until they actually had the girl... she was annoying and ruined the rest of the movie. :flame:
 
More dated pop culture references and stupid fart jokes! Yay!
