Not at all. Go to http://www.ritual.com/ and mouse-over the three dots (...) at the end of "Proceed to Ritual.com..." and it's linked. Also, it says it was set up by Sherilyn Palmer, which is the name of John Blade's mother who worked for LegionTEK. And Legion Pharmaceuticals...LegionTEK...
A reader named Jackson sends along the solution to the puzzle presented by the LegionPharma Website, basically confirming that it is indeed a tease for Sin II (story). Putting together the following clues from the source code: "There is a message" - "The order is clear" - "The numbers never lie" - "P=Paragraph" - "First is the KEY!" - "P12-66/P1-13/P2-3/P6-39/P3-9/P4-4/P5-8/P7-14/P8-45/P9-6/P10-12/P11-45" - "P=Paragraph", he sought out the letter from each of those paragraphs to come up with the following message:

Elexis Sinclair, of course, was the antagonist in the original Sin. More on this is sure to follow.
SiN spawned it's own anime movie. I'm yet to decide whether this is an indication of quality. Regardless, a sequel to SiN surprises me on the basis that few played it and the few that did saw it as the last of a dying breed of mediocre FPS games pre-hl1. It gives me hope that someone out there is willing to take risks on sequels to games no one played though.
