Is this guy a human or a mutant? Graphics look like they can compete, though.

haha I didn't think I could possibly get set for another round of STALKER hype, but i'm giddy again.

I agree completely.

When are they going to get it.

It doesn't look real at all.

They use it nicely in that night picture Stern posted, but in that one with the man, it's just excessive.
 
Also, as you see on the newspage, the new date is more official than any others have been, afaik, none of the other dates were ever posted on the official site.:)
I'm still looking forward to this, and sortra hoping someone can mod in the NEED to eat and sleep etc.:p
 
My faith in the game has been somewhat renewed recently, and these new screenies only help, although I'm not a big fan of HDR.

I still predict that it'll be a commercial bomb.
 
Yeah I already wrote that they had given an official release date on the website, and trust me, that is big, they've never ever done that before, so I'm guessing, no matter how the product is by then, THQ will force'em to release it, hopefully it'll be all polished up and good by then though.:D
I'll problaby play it in the DX8 engine and not the DX9.. Why?
These screens do feel a bit too colourfull to me, I really liked the 'dark gritty' feel of the DX8 engine more.:p

Graphics smaphics! All games these days (should) look that good, so what! Its gameplay which matters.

I don't think I'd dare to play this game by the looks of it :O
 
Call me weird, but I think this game's beginning to show its age now. The character models are quite blocky, and the textures are really bland - little discernable mapping effects. Whacking HDR over it isn't going to cover potholes like that.
 
The graphics are good. But not impressive. We have seen better. But for me that is as important as taking a shit on wednesdays. If the gameplay is there, the graphics are good enough to make it a fantastic game.
 
If the gameplay is good, the graphics aren't important. Wasn't someone just saying good riddance to this game? Ahem...

This game comes as part of a trilogy, you get TF2, DN Forever, and Stalker!
