New Star Wars Episode III pictures

There are some new Star Wars Episode III pictures out on the internet right now, and of course I had to look at them, but that was last time I do that...
These pictures reveal something that me and my friends have been discussing for years now, so if you're a Star Wars Geek like myself then I strongly advise you NOT to look at these pictures!
I'm so pissed after watching those pictures! If you've seen the pictures and you know which one I'm talking about and you feel like discussing it then I strongly advise you to warn people before you do it...

It's certainly gone down in my books, especially when compared to a masterpiece like LotR's. But its still fun to watch. I think its just generally considered bad cause we all got our hopes up and built up the hype too much, it never really stood a chance. LotR's on the other hand and Spiderman, they never had that amount of hype, so when they appeared they did amazingly well.

But, I still think the three new SW files are great, not perfect but still great, and I would have loved to have worked on atleast one, just to be able to say I had, but I haven't, so I can't. Which sucks really :(
 
I thought both episode I and II were horrible. I watched them once and have absolutely no interest in ever watching them again. I've watched every LoTR episode, on the other hand, about five times each. It's the replay value which really shows how good a movie is in my opinion.
 
Jar Jar Binks anyone?

Well I've got the phantom menace dvd, and what's sad is that if you watch the behind the scenes clips, lucas talks about how much he tried to get jar jar to work as a comic character. Too bad "jar jar" turned out more annoying than anything else.

He wanted Jar Jar to appeal to the kids, he got in there and did it before others so had no real idea if it would work right or not. I admire the fact he took the public's hatred of the character into account and rewrote scenes on AOTC to minimize Jar Jar's appearance. Many directors simply wouldn't have cared (cause he'd still make his money anyway)

Also don't forget almost everyone will have seen the original films when they were very young. And the new ones while older and dare I say it, more jaded, and spoiled by other movies out there, like LotR's, I mean, how the hell could anyone top LotR's is beyond me.. Except Jackson himself if he did the hobbit or the Silmarillion (somehow heh)

So how about this instead... someone post links to the pictures in a post, in this thread, with a spoiler warning then if someone is thick enough to enter this thread knowing the topic, scroll down, read this post then the post with the pictures in, read the spoiler warning then click the links...

eh...don't get what all the fuss is about. i'm a star wars fan but it didn't piss me off. looks kind of interesting.

Yeah, the vehicle designs just ruined the movie for me.

lucas has pretty much made it clear what's going to happen time and time again. obi-wan and anakin have a bit of a handbags and anakin falls into some lava. to be honest that pic doesn't look like anakin at all, although i may be wrong.

we'd probably have seen this stuff sooner or later through a trailer or something anyway.

Just click the link, it's a few pics. IT'S HARDLY GOING TO RUIN THE MOVIE. I'm sure George Lucas and his yes men have created another woeful script full of woeful dialogue and a bad story.

KOTOR had a better script than TPM or AOTC.

let me enlighten you, darth vader comes into being when obi-wan and anakin have a fight. anakin falls into some lava, singes his beautiful head of hair and gets a few other nasty burns, then he's resurrected and can only breathe with his machine lungs and has a voice box implanted, which is why he sounds different in episodes 4,5,6

lol.. None of that surprised me , but kinda weird first pic. Anakin after he has fallen down in that lava and becomes Vader?

I hadn't heard of this lava battle before, but I knew that it must have been a fight with Obi-won that gave him his injuries. Still confused as to how the hell he could possibly survive falling into lava, but then again it is Star Wars.
 
It hasn't yet been confirmed that Anakin falls in the lava. Palpatine may save him. Falling into lava may explain why Darth Vader requires the suit. He could use t3h force to save him.
And Episode 1 didn't suck-it just wasn't as good as the other movies. Episode 1 had the job of explaining and introducing the trilogy. And it was the first movie with the best saber fight.
I am a big SW fan. After all that I've read, SW Ep.3 will be the best. It will have a 12 minute fight with Obi-Wan and Anaking which is confirmedand I have tons of Star Wars Episode III pics.
And pendragon, why say Ep 3 will suck? You barely seen it. You have hyperspace?
So no assumptions. It will not suck but pwn you shutup ahahahha!

Actually, nop-eh.
It's still Hayden. But he looks more buffed up and mature now. And he has longer hair in the movie.
And Obi-Wan is still portrayed by Ewan McGregor. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

damn it theres no spoilers there unless you dont give a shit about star wars in the 1st place in which case it doesnt matter.

star wars 1 to 3 are shit ADMIT IT! the 4,5,6 episodes were so fantastical because i grew to love them when i was 3 / 6 years old! they lost their charm when lucas went from puppets to cgi imo too and tried to write it for adults with cenates and other wax..
