anyway, the truth is that small arms are rather deadly and there are rather alot of them (10-90 million AK-47/AKMs alone) and there is rather alot of confilct in some areas of the world, Iraq just happens to be one example. tens, if not hundreds of thousands of people are killed every year by small arms across the world. It just happens that we are looking at the number of people killed in this way in Iraq since the begining of the invasion because we can conveintly blame it on the USA. In truth many, many nations across the world, many of them in the west and what used to be the Eastern Bloc are to blame for having sold weapons and prodution licences, of all types, to these nations since the end of the second world war.
