Well I'll watch it anyway, it does look better than T3 in my opinion.

Also, that giant robot thing looks like a Nod avatar LOL.
 
The trailer could be a Bay film for all it shows. Big explosions and some bits of dialogue patched together.

It does look better than T3 even without arnie BUT it's directed by McG so my expectations are low even though I don't want them to be.

Looks much better since the teaser! :) I'm not entirely digging the Resident Evil: Extinction desert look, but if they make it look like T2 halfway through the film, I'm ok then. Like "The Matrix" with the acid rain sky look.

Nolan seems like he knows what he is doing. They need to steer away from the T3 desert look through right Mr. Director? We want to see that clip... :angel: *Ah they should end it like this. Our hero sends back that man back in time and the events just repeat over and over.
 
Just an FYI, it's not Nolan doing the directing, it's Jonathan Nolan who did the screenplay.

After watching that again I am reminded of the amazing nightmarish grit that Terminator 2 was and how "Diablo 3" this new Terminator is looking compared to that... if you catch my drift.

Was originally looking foward to this when I heard Bale was doing it, then when I saw that concept art I thought it was gonna be shit, but after the trailer, I'm really looking foward to it.

We open to a scene in the desert, we're by a gas station or something and the camera pans to the left, passing by the stations' sign, which has holes in it. We also see broken down cars on the sides of the road.

Cut + fade to a shot of a man walking towards us, passing through the gas dispensers and around the back of a vehicle parked next to them.

Cut + fade to the man walking away from us towards a lot of broken down cars and debris. A voice over asks "What day? What year?"

Fade + fade to a different person's face, he says "2018", camera zooms out to the first man and he says "what happened here?"

Cut to shot of a hard to see robot ripping a hole in some unidentifiable metal structure, grabbing a person who was standing there.

Fade to a shot of a crowd of people standing by a lit up fence, waiting to get on some kind of flying ship. Voice over from the second guy says "Judgment day"

Fade into and out of some company logos

Fade to a scene with satellite dishes in the deserts with fighter jets flying past, and people running around on the ground.

Fade to a scene where a helicopter is hovering and someone runs past the camera.

What's that I'm hraring... oh it's the sound of his career sinking...
 
Its like a battle between two of the most somewhat-powerful mortal enemies the world has ever seen. On one side we have Bale who is now a pretty good actor, and on the other side, we have the Terminator series, which is now a pretty poor movie series. Who will consume the other in this desperate fight for mediocre good and bad? Will Bale be consumed by the series and brought down to its fairly low level of quality? Or will Bale resurrect the series and propel it to the low level stardom which Bale represents?


Only time will tell.
 
I am very annoyed about the Transformer type robots, but I was very ****ING AWESOME about that regular Terminator that looks like some sort of Heavy, the one with some skin still on and the Gatling gun.


And Krynn, only the 3rd installment was mediocre.
