The film style of Top Gear, and the stunning soundtracks that accompy the scenes, is always top notch. When they got to that second road it was like an overhead shot of something from Lord of the Rings. Or more accuratly, something that gave you that similar feeling that the music and visuals of LOTR did.
For me, anyway.
Class episode. Can't wait for this season, the quick preview looked ace! Looks like they're going to be doing something else military related by the looks of the aircraft carriar and jet in one of the shots, and the amphibious cars at Dover is going to be insane.

Great episode. And the series is 10 episodes long! I swear last series was less after Hammond's crash.

Just watched it now, really enjoyed it. Pretty epic all round really, the BBC must pour so much money into Top Gear it's unbelievable. 
Seriously, the production values completely piss over anything else thats made by the BBC. If the preview clip at the beginning was anything to go by, this series is only going to get better.

The road trip was brilliant. James was crazy to go to the South of France, in summer, in a racing car with no air conditioning (the flak he got from Hammond and Jezza therefore was more than deserved, I reckoned )
I laughed my ass of when Clarkson struggled to get gas into his Lambo...that was a priceless piece of television.
(and no, I'm not British, but in Holland we can receive both BBC and BBC2 )
