Ok kiddies you're gonna have to shovel a lot this winter to get these! For $30+tax you get the headcrab hat (with Lombardi displaying the hat and a hot chick lol). The headcrab plushie has be re-stocked and for another $30+tax you can get your very own Vortigaunt. With that price I expect them to throw in the little vort hat for free. Anybody want my headcrab plushie?

OMG they are cute. But I won't wear a headcrap-cap, on the street.

Isn't that Greg Coomer?

Wow thanks. I could'nt figure out how to get the pic to display. *Jee you people should get Raising the Bar imo. They lowered the price a lot.

I wish I had some freaking money, this shit is Awesome.

Ohhhhhhhhh a custom Christmas hat!
I jope its removabable though.

I'd love some of that stuff, but the shipping costs are awful.

No, it's Doug Lombardi.

I think you'll find it is Greg Coomer. I've been to Valve and met them both so am pretty sure on this one. That vort is awesome though - am so gonna get one, if for no other reason to keep my plush headcrab company.

To bad the Vortigaunt doesn't really look that much like a Vortigaunt :p

OH MY GOD. I WANT THE HEADCRAB HAT SO BAD!

Seriously, you have no idea. I'm like, dying here.

omg my parents wont give me shit for christmas cuz they bought me a Snowboarding set (quite expensive) so all i get is 2 shirts from Pure Pwnage.

The Headcrab hat would be good for next halloween.

My god...Only £40 for two plushies and postage...must resist...RESIST!

What do you mean "only"? That's not cheap for two small fluffy toys.

This is official merchandise. It's bound to cost a good amount.

BTW, when is the Alyx blow-up doll comin out?

Where was I arguing the opposite? Course it's going to cost a good amount. My objection was to the point that £40 for two stuffed toys is a bargain.

Soz mate, I must have a cushy job :D

Appreciation of the value of money isn't a function of your income. £40 for 2 fluffy toys is a lot, whether you're on the dole or earning £500 000 a year.

Don't get economical. Personally I think £20 a piece for a plush toy is no big deal.

Yeah, I was moaning at the price earlier, but it was all for the sake of a reasoned arguement. My haul arrived this morning! :D

Nice. Im thinking about getting some myself.

You hypocritical get! And you got yours before mine!! So not fair!!!

Heh, sorry, I wasn't trying to be hypocritical, merely trying to spark a debate on how much is a reasonable amount to ask for such an item. Clearly, I didn't really have any strong issues with the cost of the vort plus shipping to UK, but wanted to see what amount people thought would be a reasonable and what amount would be crossing the line into a plain ludicrous asking price.

Anyway, as I said, ordered 4, gave 2 to mates, kept 1. Getting more interest via PMs than I anticipated now though so I decided it'd probably fairer if I pop the last one up on eBay. So check out there if you're in the UK and interested in one, but don't fancy facing the international shipping and probable import duty fees.
