New weapon? (alyx gun?)

Ever heard of a Pistol before?
is it so strange that someone can carry one? :\.
 
That is not the USP match. I'm 100% sure. The USP is whitish from a first person perspective, and the behind of this gun is black. Also the USP doesn't have those holes on top.

it looks a little like the usp in metal gear solid 2, but the extended clip suggests its a rapid firing weapon. its just concept art though, it doesnt mean its in the game, even though gordon is holding items in the same picture that are in the game. basically some artist probably just made it up as he wasnt told specifically what gun to draw in her hand, the guy was probably just told to give her a pistol
 
There are no real world guns that look exactly like the one in that wallpaper. It looks like the USP pistol with a lot of artistic liberties taken.

Edit: The texturing on the various clothes are eye-catching though. Well done.
 
Imo it looks like the gun from op4, youknow, the one with the laser thingy.

That's supposed to be a Desert Eagle, the gun in the wallpaper looks nothing like it. To me, it looks like a modified glock of some kind... perhaps a g23, because they have circular holes on the top of the slide, a bit like in the image.
 
The gun in the picture doesn't look like a specific real life weapon AFAIK.

However it looks as though it's a machine pistol.
 
I think it bears a resemblance anyway. With the blackness, and the bulge at the front bottom. Also the general shape looks the same.

Hmm, Judging by the extended mag and the holes in the barrel, i'd say it was something automatic.

Of course I could be wrong.

Yeah, Gordons suit actually looks like it could take some shotgun shells to the chest without flinching.

He definately looks a lot tougher.

Yep - I think Gordon is no longer just a "scientist in the wrong place" any longer. More of a hardened warrior.

It will be in the game but it wont be in your inventory
also you didnt discover a new weapon this was discovered A LONG TIME ago.

*lol* Of course I know its concept art. I'm talking about how the texture of the clothe stands out, it's very sharp and crisp looking. I'm not talking about texture-mapping a 3D object.

...but it looks like an automatic weapon. And those holes/dots on top are certainly not in a Mk23.
 
I said BASED on the Mk23 SOCOM. It looks like nothing else I can think of.
 
It must be automatic, with the extended magazine it looks more like a MAG60 or a GLOCK18.
Meaning it will need to shoot more rounds in one mag...

ah, is it because its stolen? or is it because it might be a spoiler? or both? i suppose its fair that u deleted it,
 
I'd have to agree w/ lemming mainly because of the extended clip and the hole at the top. This suggests that it has maybe a burst fire capablity and a full auto which explains the holes for more rapid cooling.
