New Weapon?

I was recently veiwing the old 2003 e3 tunnels video and saw something that seemed out of place. At the very beggining, in the lower right corner, there seemed to be a type of ammunition for a type of gun?
IM pretty sure it hasn't been seen yet, but im not positive. Please post what you think thanks!

You know that flare gun Gordon pulls out later in the video? That's what gun it is or is for. Nothing new there.

Thing is: That weapon in the Tunnels video set that poor combine fellow alight. But in the newer vids, it seems the exact same weapon is the Strider-ette disintigratey type gun.

Yeah, i noticed that aswell. Maybe it was to graphical. Or it's just the secondary fire option

We've seen that gun (The I-Rifle i think its called) fire 4 different types of ammo.
Flare, Rocket, Disintergrating fireball thingy and bullets (In the strider videos in 2004 a couple of the squad have a gun that looks suspiciously like that, and they're using it like a machinegun)

Um, how did you know that? The rocket that shoots out from the RPG in the videos are not that long.

How do you cycle twixt the 4?
