Hey, I've been following this forum for ages but this is my first post so go easy :p

Anyway I have a couple of questions:

1) I'm upgrading my computer but apparently my old mobo (K7S41) has a Micro ATX form factor. Do i need to buy a new mobo that has the same form factor? I'd rather buy a normal ATX but don't know whether it will fit.

2) If I do need a Micro ATX mobo, can anyone point me in the direction of some compatible with......

AMD Athlon xp 3200, 1 Gig DDR 400, ATI 9800 pro

Thanks in advance :)

If you open up your case and there are no screw holes that aren't covered by the motherboard, then you can't use a standard ATX board. If you can use a standard ATX board, there should be at least 2 screw holes in the case a few inches below the motherboard.

You know, you could just buy an ATX case, I got a decent looking case, with a suprinsgly nice working generic PSU. for 30$

Micro cases drive me nuts anyway, unless your 5 years old there so bloody hard to work in.
