But I liked it better with the Newbie forum... it was a like a whole nother place where noobs could feel welcome with other noobs... rather than an insane collection and crazy long thread, (in time).

I don't see much of an improvement with the single thread, honestly. It's just going to turn into a giant glob of random people joining/leaving/etc, and we won't know what the hell is going on in there! Alot like the newbie forum!
