this is what I was trying to avoid by starting this thread warning people that there are sshots floating around

At least they aren't spoiler SS's...which is good. Though they are from the stolen build (not Beta, there's a difference). But they are better than those other "official" ones that came out not too long ago.

I think the issue is that by posting screenshots from the leaked build, one violates the user agreement to which he agreed upon forum registration.

Halflife2.net forum users agree not to post any material that is protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner. This includes magazine scans and stolen Half-Life 2 content such as source code, screenshots and files.

The owner of the SS is Shuzer. Do I have to ask him? I'm going to edit my posts...
