Next James Bond film named

strange for the name of a bond film.... but since its a fleming novel name i'll have to wait and see if the name suits the film.
 
Solace I can understand (Bonds bird just bit the dust, and she had tits to marry), but quantum is little more obscure:-

Ah well, as long as it's as kick ass as Casino Royale was and they avoid the mistake of the later Bronsnan flicks of going Gadget crazy (the invisble BMW was a serious low point), it should make up for its bizare title.

Eh I don't know about the title but if it's good for Fleming I guess I'll be alright. But really? Another french villan? tsk tsk.
 
Don't like the name much, even if it is one of Fleming's.

Wait, aren't 'Star Trek' and 'erotic' enough to make the internet implode if separated so narrowly from each other? The Internet has a stronger stomach these days.
 
James bond is like a new coke, it'll be around forever hur hur hur.
 
If it sets your minds at rest, the title seems to be another way of saying "A Bit of Solace".

I read the plot outline-ish thing on Wikipedia, sounds like a good story.
 
Ermm... pretty sucky title tbh but the last movie rocked so looking forward to this one.
 
How do you write a song about a name like that? How can you do it?!
 
I could have said the same thing about Casino Royale, and yet...

See, I liked that theme, but they could've done one with the actual words "Casino Royale" in it. I don't know why they didn't. If somehow they manage to make "Quantum of Solace" into a song though, that'll blow my mind.
 
It would naturally have to use as many physics terms as possible, trying to match the terms to a scenario like a massive gunfight or... the other thing Bond always seems to manage to get himself into.

always gonna be excited for new james bond films...no matter how old i get...been playing a bond mobile game for those interested...its pretty fun...and has a cool multiplayer function..james bond top agent
 
Well, name is pretty meh... but eh, I'll wait for some more news.
 
I saw parts of Casino, and it was pretty good, but every one prior to that and after Sean Connery was shite, tbh.
 
I thought even though George got one film, Her Majesty's Secret Service was one of the best tbh. And apparantly this next one follows straight on from Casino Royale which makes a change, cant wait. Love the style they have done the films in, apart from a few bits its a lot more down to Earth. Will never beat the Bourne films though.

I liked GoldenEye, but other than that, the only other non-connery bond movie I liked was Casino Royale.
 
Goldeneye is the best Bond film so far.
 
Daniel Craig is the best Bond of all time IMO (yes, even better than Connery)
 
it was weird for me to see different bond actors. i mean i grew up with pierce D:. he wasnt bad. the new guy in casino royale is a change

You have seen the fewest changes in Bond actors of anybody here.
 
ive seen almost all of the bond movies but the others werent that great imo.

Are you kidding me? I grew up with Pierce Brosnan as Bond too, but most of the movies he was in sucked - Goldeneye was great but everything after it, up to Casino Royale, was pretty shitty in one way or another. Casino Royale and Daniel Craig are both good.

How could you not love the older Sean Connery Bond films? They're all excellent, get some history man!
 
GoldenEye was great, anything else Pierce did was crap really. Craig did well in Casino Royale though

Personally I blame the gadget-madness rather than Pierce himself.
