Night Vision

So i saw this godlike player use night vision and i thought it would be fun and interested to try it out. So i buy them and it says put in ------ commands to adjust them. I try putting them in and it doesn't work. Can someone please tell me whatthe commands are to make them work because i must have it all wrong.

Just press N. I think the commands are to make it brighter or dimmer, but I like it on default

does nightvision actually help at all? Because i hear some people buy it.. and im thinking whats the point. Maybe it helps in day levels by seeing round corners, or make the whole level appear like snow lol.

N is to activate nightvision and I'm pretty sure -/+ is used to adjust them. At least, that's how it is in 1.6.

Nightvision helps alot in havanna, especially of your T. The dark colours of CT's just blend in with the shadows if they stay still, nightvision lets you see em straight away Also, in day light levels like dust you can see movement better. Like if a T moved at the corner of the screen, you might not notice him, but with nighvision it kinda exagerates (sp?) it so you can see it more clearly. Or atleast that's what I've found

Same here actually. I use night vision whenever I can, and even sacrifice the AK (My favourite T weapon) for Night vision sometimes.

I probably used it like 2 or 3 times, but it seems to seriously up my kill count , and generally add a bit of spice to the game =D

I call it predator vision. I buy it when i have the cash but always die because i'm more interested in the NV than killing.

We have a torch and NV but no use for them (they help in a few levels), valve should make a few night maps.

A dark snow map would be sweet because the first few rounds everyone would have to use a torch then when some have the cash they would get NV. I'm not talking 100% dark just about 60% less light than there is in normal maps.

In the non source cs are there any really dark maps that they will port over?

And nightvision does seem to help sometimes. Kinda weird.

Nightvision only helps with with seeing skins easier and making you get flashed 2x more :rolling:
