Same basic gameplay, same aim for realism of some degree.

Let's not get into comparing lists (otherwise i'll be forced into boring everyone with huge posts detailing how generic, cliched and boring RFOM 1, 2 and Killzone 2 are. And nobody wants that ;))

I won't hear a bad word said against Galaxy and Lost Winds, though. If just 5% of games released this gen showed similar levels of creativity and originality things would have been much better for everyone. Thank **** for games like this, and Braid and World of Goo.

I wouldn't say that 360 is better when there's hardware issues and it costs more overall when you buy all the extras needed.

I'm not sorry I sold my DS. All the games are just so meh... I was really hyped for Phantom Hourglass but about 5 minutes into it I realized it was about as difficult and interesting as doing the ABC's... and probably just as appropriate too lmfao.

So yeah, new DS Zelda looks like old DS Zelda with a scene change.
 
What happened, Nintendo, you used to be cool :( I'm starting to rethink replacing my old DS that was stolen. And maybe get rid of the Wii, there's like 2 years worth of dust on that thing. I'm sure there are some kids or old people who would like it. The only thing stopping me is hope that will be an new REAL Zelda game.

wahhh? Nintendo is great and all but cool they are not, those days are long gone. Hell they wouldn't even allow blood on any games on their snes, don't you remember? That came to bite them in the ass during n64 and gc days but now the casual cutsy angle has put them back on top, so good for them. You think this wii music bullshit will ever stop? Why would it? They should (and will) milk the shit out of it.
 
Well, some of their games were cool. Now they just make crap. It's been a couple of years since they've even announced anything that wasn't bullshit casual gimmickry, let alone released any good games.
 
I agree, I'm not arguin bro. Most of us grew up with Nintendo so yea it sucks to see them making bullshit like wii fitness or whatever, but its good for them and the industry in the long run. Hell if the Ds and wii didn't take off like it did, who knows what would have happened to them.
 
Yeah, it is good for the industry, but who cares about the industry? It's not like there are better games now that we have a huge industry. If anything, they're worse now. It doesn't matter to me that games are reaching new audiences, all I see is people who don't like the games I play playing the games I don't like. Good for them, and good for Nintendo, but it makes no difference to me.
