Or possibly today, depending on where you are.

What's it going to be about, Meatbags?

What do you think it'll be about?! How to have fun with your Wii! I can't wait!

you've confused me, isn't sony on mon [it's tues here] so wouldn't that mean that sony, not nintendo will be tonight, or possibly today depending on where you are ? D:

i need a desktop app which has clocks from multiple timezones .. i miss cairo on linux. :(

The Nintendo conference won't be for another 27 hours according to the Gamespot countdown timer.

27 hours? I thought it was going to be not long after Sony's press conference (which is 9 hours away). Maybe I'm thinking of Microsoft's... argh, this is confusing. ;(

Get DesktopX for Windows and just throw as many clock (or other) widgets as you like with different timezones in them on your desktop. You can get tons from WinCustomize.com. Easy as 1,2,3.

This should clear things up about the conferences:
We kick things off on Monday, May 8 with the Sony E3 2006 Press Conference (link active May 8) where everything PlayStation 3-related will (hopefully) be revealed. GameDaily coverage of the press conference begins at 3:55pmPT / 6:55pmET / 22:55GMT, with video and pictures coming in soon thereafter.

Then you'll want to join us on Tuesday, May 9, where we go back-to-back with a couple of biggies. First, the Nintendo E3 2006 Press Conference (link active May 9) showing the "big surprise" Nintendo has in store for us with Wii, as well as updates on the Nintendo DS and Game Boy consoles. GameDaily will be updating LIVE from the Kodak Theater for Nintendo's conference starting at 9:25amPT / 12:25pmET / 16:25GMT.

We then cross the street and race over to the Microsoft E3 2006 Press Conference (link active May 9), where we expect new announcements for Xbox 360 to come in hot and heavy, including the highly-anticipated rumored showing of Halo 3. GameDaily coverage of the Microsoft event begins at 11:25amPT / 1:25pmET / 18:25GMT.

My money is on a vibrating dildo attachment. I mean literally, i've preordered and everything.

The accelerometer.
Metroid Prime 3 footage.
The console with the Wii logo on rather than RevOlution.
Some big-name third-party developers talking about the console.

Apologies, i had false information.

I wonder if they'll just rename the Wii again. Or announce some sort of micro game boy micro, like last year.

About 4PM (GMT) iirc.

I'm going to miss this and the microsoft conference :(
Please make a thread for each like the Sony conference one :)

Maybe they'll say "Wahhh suckers! You thought we would really call it Wii?"

heres hoping

Hour and a half left till it begins. Lucky I get to stay home and watch them, I got sick :(

To clear things up. It's 5.30 GMT for us Brits. Sources should be www.gametrailers.com and www.gamespot.com for live feed. Count on www.eurogamer.net for a up to date blog if there are any delays (like Sony's delay which approached an hour! (I was sitting here from 12 till 1 waiting for it to start, and boy was it bad, except MGS and FF of course)).

Now, I think Nintendo's conference could reveal the most this year, Sony could have done but revealed very little of games people wanted to see e.g. Killzone 2.

Come on Nintendo!

What do you guys most want to see in the presentation?

Personally, I want to see many many different uses for the controller--I don't care which games its for. Well, with the exception of the new Dragon Warrior for the Wii--I gotta see the sword fighting!

It's got to be the additional features for the new Zelda on Wii. If there's anything to do with swords i'll die happy. Red Steel. Just the Wii in general really, hopefully a new name...? :)

what do I wanna see from nintendo's conference?

as VoS said, multiple uses of the controller...

some FPS games (red-steel please).
price, specs, release date.
and hopefully some more adult themed titles, or at least less cutesy stuff.. but Im not holding my breath on that last one.

I want to see random, non-developer people playing games or demos. I want to see how these people react and interact with it. I'd be more interested in videos of the people playing and not neccesarily footage of the games themselves. I'm most interested in run of the mill people's reactions.

Twilight Princess release date please. PLEASE!

if you haven't already refresh your GS page

also if you had stuttering problems yesterday, after the crash... I suggest doing what I did

open a US gamespot page, and launch the stream
then open a uk gamespot page and launch the stream
you should have two windows open, mute one, and watch the other, if one starts acting up mute it and switch to the other window

at least it helped me yesterday, as performance was sketchy but having both open I didnt miss another frame.

US page link: http://www.gamespot.com/e3/e3live.html
UK page link: http://uk.gamespot.com/e3/e3live.html?event=e32006

both feeds are live and playing crap music, shouldnt be long now... another 20 some minutes.

:)

I too would prefer to see more interactivity shown in the conference.

Yay, only minutes away. Unfortunately I'll be watching with no sound (I am at an office :p), but hopefully I won't need it.

30 mins from start. It has been listed as 9:30 PST thats 12:30 east. Its now 12:02

Thats not a few more mins :/

excellent I just came home from uni, nice music

Shoot, I hope its late like Sony's was so I can make it home from work to watch!!!

Damn. Do I have time for a shite? *checks watch* *runs*

No... not those type of runs.

Hmm, we might miss out on the text updates from Eurogamer this time.

Everyones filing into the giant, tiered Kodak Theatre. Slowly, but a bit more freely than we experienced at Sony yesterday.
Nintendo just issued a command over the PA that people turn off laptops, wireless and Bluetooth devices before the conference. This could be interesting! Not to worry, though - theres always the high-tech solution of putting our laptops under our coats while updating.

I'm streaming the Nintendo conference now. It just started!!!!! we have image!

I hope they show several ways how the controller can be used, and good games who use them that way. I hope they have a controller cam. A Picture-in-Picture small cam showing the controller moving and how it affects game-play.

I hope to get at least a decent idea of the power of the system. This system is going to steal the show. They were charging up for this the whole time with the game cube, saving all they have for this round. OK, thats just something to hype you up :) but they have TWILIGHT PRINCESS! That game is a must have for me. I might have to wait a long time, but I will have it.

Whatever hardware ideas they announce, you can bet Sony and Microsoft will be in the labs trying to copy the idea, so they might not reveal all of their hardware secrets now, damn if that isn't the truth. Maybe some things we won't find out until Nintendo prepares to launch.

I'm pretty damn excited, and I probably won't even buy one right away.

The Microsoft show is what I want to see the most though, it's probably going to suck if you aren't interested in their products, but I'm interested in them very much.

Just waiting for it to start.... Damn you Gamespot music.....

Starting!

mIYAMOTO I LOVE YOU!!!!1

hOLY #### he's conducting a video game orchestra playing Zelda with the Wii!
