Nintendo Press Conference tonight!

New Metroid and Mario look sweet as hell.

Mario in Space :D

Mario: Galaxies is the title.

FF: Crystal Chronicles to be Wii exclusive.

27 games to be shown on E3.

Now showing Red Steel!

Exclusive.

Game set in US/Japan.

k broke down and I'm watching it ..with no sound :(

the games so far look arcady in terms of gameplay, not that that's a bad thing, most games they've shown look extremely fun ...anything for us serious gamers who like more than just twitching?

Bad gfx my ass! there's explosion, soft bodies, physics, and I think I see parallax and bloom. Dynamic lights for sure.

Clan system AI. there will be a leader etc.

the fps movement (on whatever game they're showing atm) looks/moves much more lifelike than most

graphically not a mind blowing like the one on 360/PS3

This'd be awesome if I didn't have to buffer every 5 seconds.

Heh, awesome. Shooting holes into bamboo window, light shines thru.

Damn, and I thought I was never going to buy a console...

If the FPS play as good as they look like, I'm definately going to buy a Wii.

meh, red steel looked nothing like the screenshots.... it looks very xbox/gamecube like.

this sucks so far ;(

You seem one of the only ones saying that

Oh please.... Brain Age D:

EDIT: Sorry for double posting.. I'm kinda excited.

This week, Nintendo announced that they had sold more than 5 million DS units worldwide and were on track to sell approximately 6 million by the end of March.

Reports have also shown that Sony has sold more than 2.5 million PSP units in the US and Japan (not available in Europe).
"Independent Source".

Nothing can beat PC with its upcoming DX10, Crysis any ?

yeah, sorry.. guess I expected a bit too much to begin with.

I am very much into graphics, so right off the bat I guess they lost me.
the control scheme sounds like it could have some awesome uses, but that's down to developers.

Fair enough I guess. Nintendo arent really going for graphics.

Yoshi's Island 2 and DKR for DS. I remember! Soooo long ago. T.T

President Iwata San stressing goals to pull in non-gamers as well as core gamers.

the lil dude talking now has a good point about graphics, and how the approach might be more interaction between player and game centric.

I agree, but there still no need to sacrifice the eye-candy
I want my cake and to eat it too.

Well because they're pricing it cheaper you might be able to get more than one console.

He's complaining about Loading Times now...I think he's going somewhere with this.

Wii has browser and says it's as fast as phone/TV.

Wii connect 24: Wii never turns off really.

well price isn't an issue for me personally..
what would have been nice however is seeing real games like say Half-Life2/3, utilizing these controls, with the addition of great graphics, instead of ping pong and mario.

Uh oh, the Wii will be doing things while it's off and will be connected to the net.

It's only a matter of time until the Wii's become self-aware :p
