Nintendo revolution to be under 299$ ?

Nintendo has said it will be around $150. I'm surprised you didn't know.

(Less than three Nintendo)

Nintendo has always been one of the cheapest. One of the reasons why I lessthanthree them :D

I lessthanthree Nintendo like I lessthanthree my invisible Girlfriend!

Good, that means I can buy more and sell more of them on Ebay and make lots of $$$$!!!

is there a list of games for the revolution yet?

I already know about the ability of the revolution to download the play all the old nintendo games as well as being compatible with the next zelda game...

I dunno what the article says but I remember one of the reasons for it's lower cost is due to them dropping hi-def support.
If you want to keep playing GC games in hi def, keep the GC.

Other than that the specs are very similar to the competing systems, though Nintendo claims a power jump of only 2-3x, as opposed to the ridiculously high estimations of Sony and MS.

Wait, what? You've played it already?
The commercial with random various people using the controller has me sold.
Perhaps it had the opposite effect for him.

its technically worse. why would any consumer pay more for less? i mean i dont particularly think its WORSE (i really like the gamecube, more so than xbox) but i mean it would just be terrible business practice to market this shit which is technically inferior for the same amount of money.

The Revolution won't be the electronics center that the PS3 is. Does it even go online? Xboxes are so expensive cuz that's how Microsoft rolls. I don't think it has anything to do with being "technically inferior." $150 is a little low, as well...

I have faith that the Revolution will be good.

i think it iwll be good too, and i'm going to buy one myself... but i mean, the price had better be waayyy below 220

It will connect to the same Wi Fi network the DS uses.

I will be cheaper because it will not utilize as many features as the others.

Like I said, several sources (google it- I'm lazy) have confirmed $150. And I'm a shallow bastard- normally the far-inferior graphics would turn me off, but this is so-dare I say it- revolutionary that I'm hooked. The entire idea is that Nintendo isn't competing with MS or Sony- rather than putting out a gorgeous powerhouse, they're making a unique, intuitive, very fun, affordable console.

At that price it would be competing with DS.

I think it will be closer to 200 like every system in the past.

That's only half the controller.

I also recall a "normal" controller would be able to plug directly into the "remote" for the people that can't handle innovation.

I'm not sure when they put the ftw button on there, but I imagine plenty of possibilities opened up.

Did you sell any 360s on ebay I heard some were selling for like 2 grand
Nope, poor miccy missed the boat on that one, mainly because I didn't realize how much potential for earnings there was.

This year, I have both the PS3 and Rev to look forward to :D

I've heard April, and I've heard much later. Keeping my fingers crossed for pre-summer release (June birthday ftw)

There is still some information about it that is not known (according to people like Satoru Iwata and Shigeru Miyamoto)... and they are reserving a huge spot at the next E3 compared to what they've done in the past. So, I would think that a pre-E3 release would be completely out of the question... but the fact that their area is so massive leads to one of two conclusions: they're going to unveil another major secret or they think it's going to be ready for release not too long after E3 (rather than the generally assumed November launch). Either way, it's looking good.
