game number two tonight.

Houston's bullpen was a question heading into the playoffs and it hasn't gotten better, thats for sure.

aside from Roger Clemens and perhaps Roy Oswalt, their starters aren't pitchers who exactly strike the fear of god into opponents either...hmm.

St. Louis doesn't really have a starting pitcher who stands out but when u have a batting order that features Pujols, Walker, Edmonds, Rolen, Renteria, Sanders.. etc. u don't neccessarily need a perfect performance to win a game.

anyway i think its a must win situation for Houston... going down 2-0 to the Cards will prove deadly.

i should think so, but with the series going to houston, anything can happen.

it's not like houston doesn't have a decent lineup themselves, i would say that houston has better pitching than the St. Louis, that might not be enough though.

if you look at the end of the season, no team was playing as well as houston, if they stay hot, they could win it all.

We just need to get our starters to stay later in the game, so we can go straight to Brad Lidge. If we have to use Qualls, Harville, Springer, Miceli, Gallo, etc we could be in trouble. Game one was a perfect example. Our bullpen gave up what, eight runs? Not going to cut it. We should be winning or right there with the other team if we score 7 runs in a game. We'll see what happens when they head to Houston, and Oswalt/Clemens take the mound.

St. Louis better win... I don't care, but a lot of people I live with seem to. :| I don't want to hear the wails of pain! :O
