No disc inserted

I bought the collector's edition. The games are installed after 1 hour... my key has been activated by steam, and have a receipt for the cd key subscription. Now when I try to run the game, it says 'No disc inserted'! Help! Paid $80 bucks, and cannot play game!

I had that problem with Far Cry. I had to uninstall Sonic DLA, cause for some reason it would lock my dvd drive for use with burning stuff. Dont know if thats your problem, but just maybe itll help ya.

make sure the disc is in the drive.. when you play..
unfortuanatly the retail versions do have the requirement of having the cd/dvd in the drive..

Yep... Sonic DLA

I did figure it out.... it was Sonic DLA. Once uninstalled, it worked fine.

Man, thanks for the right answer! If I would not have figured it out, I would have been stuck without your post.
