no more keyboard/mouse

I try to use this adjective as little as possible, but I feel it's appropriate for this idea:

retarded

It was cool, its an old idea, but still pretty cool.

It wouldn't work for FPS games though

That's why it sucks.

Relax; the whole world isn't going to switch to it tomorrow and render FPS games obsolete, I wouldn't condone it just becuase you can't methodically kill images of human beings on it in a fashion your accustomed to.
Think of all the cool games/software you could make for this thing.....computing is going to suck ****ing balls if all we do in the future is press buttons, move a rodent around and stare mindlessly at a screen.......

Somehow I dont think I'll be running around in an FPS, and touch the persons head to shoot them.

These sorts of "touch what your looking at to work with it" technologies wont get very far I think, because it's very offten that you dont want what your working with to be obstructed by your hands.

My thoughts exactly.

It looks really good for moving windows and folders about... organisation... but my finger is bigger than probably every cursor in every program, so I can't see it being suitable with anything except what he does - move windows.

Give the gloves cloaking technology. Kind of like some aliens, only they fit on your hands and move stuff around.

this technology isnt made for games at all its meant to be innovative.

He says "This is how I think we should be interacting with machines from now on."

I prefer a physical keyboard and mouse thx. It's pretty but not practical.
