That is too bad I guess.
Even if it was the best integrated sound chip, it still couldn't compare to awesome sound cards like the Audigy 2 ZS and the Santa Cruz.

soundstorm had realtime DD 5.1 enconding, you wont find it on audigy2 zs. it was best for games. audigy cant do it digital. only 2 chanels.

Yeah, it really was the best audio chip. Of course that's if you have digital speakers to take advantage of why it's the best.

It did use less CPU resources and it didn't use Creative drivers. That's a big plus too.
