You've linked to the Steam forum which links to this forum.

The two week period is referring to current Steam games. I think this date has been pushed back whilst they sort out the other issues with Steam.

They'll be adding offline support once they take the WON servers offline, it makes sense that way.

I've been trying to get help for weeks through the steam forum, and everytime I get flamed with very similar responses like,"n00b! LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!! I hope you dont" never get steam 2 wurks! HA HA!!!!!!" I've read the support FAQ, and searched for my issue in the support forum, and everytime I find a thread with my issue the person just gets flamed. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I was actually proud of our community after seeing all of that.

i'm behind a firewall as well...do you just have a router or are you not able to control which ports are open?

if you have control, you can open the correct ports and steam works fine behind a firewall
