Which is your favourite non-one-hit-kill weapon? :afro:

Mine personally is combine rifle (no-orbs) - it acts as a better,upgraded machine gun!

What is yours?
 
Play HL2Deathmatch, 'assassin'.

Shotgun. Which is also a one-shot, if used correctly.

The right tool for the right job

All alone in a south american jungle, I choose the combine rifle.
As a home & HL appliance, I choose grav gun,
And as the best zero-distance killer I choose a shotgun ! :p
 
Pistol. I take great pride and joy in pelting enemies with 9mm rounds, plocking away at their little health meters.
 
Hard to choose between pistol and combine rifle...

Combine Rifle because it sounds cooler :D
 
Crowbar ofc, nothing more satisfying than bludgeoning combine to death, then proceeding to abuse the ragdoll physics and bash the dead bodies off cliffs etc...

H&K USP Match pistol. Since the days of MoH, i mastered the art of killing enemies at great distances with weaker weapons, usually in the head...One or two shots and you're gone! That's the reason i was allways assigned the bolt rifle in our MoH team - i don't waste bullets :)

Everyone knows that the crowbar and the rifles are the best :thumbs:

Difficult question for me. For singleplayer, deffinately the pistol, cause laying some smackdown on CPs early in the game never gets old for me.

For multiplayer, the gravity gun, cause since everyone else has one you can get into those kinda battles where you are both just frantically picking up whatever you can find and chucking it blindly in hopes that you can hit them. Either that or you end up chucking the same object back and forth while walking towards each other before one person screws up and dies.
 
Pulse Rifle, but wouldn't you call the grav gun/slam 1 hit kills? \=
 
Have to go with the shot gun. Bit of a sadist I think

Nothing is more satisfying than blowing headcrabs off a horde of zombies getting in your face.:hmph:

But for creative I like the grav gun too.

No - considering with the grav gun you don't shoot explosives or orbs...because like I said - favourite NON-1-hit-kill weapons.

And for the SLAM,you gotta assume that you don't completely step all over the SLAM and die instantly - btw,it isn't a one-hit kill if you are charged up full on your suit ;)

Hey, it's possible to shoot explosives or orbs with the grav gun. And sawblades! Sawblades at high speeds!

I know that!I said that you don't,not can't - we're talking about non-1-hit-kill weapons!So you have to not use explosives and other one-hit-kill items if you don't wanna 1-hit-kill,and in this case,we don't wanna one-hit-kill because this poll is talking about non-1-hit-kill weapons! :rolling: So if you wanna talk about one-hit-kill weapons,go to my other poll Orb or Arrow :naughty:
 
Machine Gun for me. The pulse rifle might work right but old lead shooter never gets old. Plus you can lob one handy grenade when things get ugly.
 
Yeah,I guess the machine gun can be pretty good at times,since if you're outta ammo BAM you can fire a grenade that explodes on impact! :bounce:
 
Stunstick.

The idea of beating people up with an electric baton appeals to my fascist nature.

You know,the crowbar and stunstick actually work pretty well against real players in deathmatch :)
 
Stunstick feels so meaty in DM, but of course the crowbar is for wild swinging and shit.

Have you ever seen a "Suicide Rush Charlie" online? :D

lol nope,or was that a rhetorical question?Either way,I prefer crowbars to stunsticks because the stunstick doesn't do as much physical damage as the crowbar.I mean,the crowbar is metallic and it's sharp and has a sorta hook at the end which grabs on to the flesh and pulls roughly out again,but the stunstick is just like a stun baton,and cause bruises and a little bleeding if you whack at people too hard.
 
There's just something so satisfying about pistol kills. .especially in bullet time on Substance so i'm going to have to pick it

You know,I recently discovered if you hold down primary fire with the pistol,it shoots slower than if you keep clicking primary fire :smoking:
 
hmmm. . didn't ever occur to me to try that. . . i like shooting it fast so that defeats the purpose for me heh.

If you like shooting fast with the pistol,repeatedly click primary fire,don't hold down primary fire - like I said,it's faster that way ;)
