I tend to find more ways for firing faster when using weapons in order to kill the opposing team/enemy faster :O Especially in DM.

Why isn't the gravity gun a one hit kill weapon? It's more than possible to kill multiple anythings with a single shot.

Crowbar wins otherwise. I love getting into people's faces with it in Deathmatch games. Do it enough, and people get VERY upset :p

Shotgun.
I just love to get close to a combine and shoot them right in their head... That's fun :E

The gravity gun CAN be a one-hit-kill gun,but as I explained earlier,I have to assume that you won't pick up explosives and enemies and other one-hit-kil items because in this thread we're talking about non-1-hit-kill weapons.

For example,if we were talking about one-hit-kill items, one of the poll options would be the gravity gun, then someone might come along and say,"Hey!The grav gun can be non-one-hit-kill weapon too!"And I'd have to contradict them,by saying that we have to assume that you will only pick up one-hit-kill items.

I hope this is clear enough, because I'm beginning to think my previous posts about the grav gun aren't clear enough :cheese:

Btw,I like using the crowbar in DM too,it seems to be really effective for some reason lol

But by the same standard, other Half-Life 2 weapons are non 1-hit killers, since you can use them all improperly and cause damage without killing the enemy. Like shooting soldiers in the legs with the Magnum or firing rockets into the ground some distance away from a target. I'd probably say my one-shot kill success rate is higher with the Gravity Gun (or perhaps even the grenades) than with the RPG or Magnum.

The stunstick's great. Melee weapons are what real men use in DM.

lol nope,or was that a rhetorical question?Either way,I prefer crowbars to stunsticks because the stunstick doesn't do as much physical damage as the crowbar.I mean, the crowbar is metallic and it's sharp and has a sorta hook at the end which grabs on to the flesh and pulls roughly out again, but the stunstick is just like a stun baton, and cause bruises and a little bleeding if you whack at people too hard.

The Stunstick actually does more damage than the crowbar game wise, but the crowbar is faster.

How is the SLAM not a one-hit kill weapon? I've never had a SLAM trap not kill my opponent in one go. Likewise what Kupo brought up with the gravity gun. It's a one-hit killer unless you're picking up healthkits and throwing THOSE at the enemy.

Voted submachine gun, because it's the most reliable weapon out of all of those.

Since its there I voted for shotgun, although it can be a 1-hit-kill gun through headshots or a close range double barrel to the body. Luv it!

OK,I give up :cheese:

Game-wise then I guess so - anyway,I was on about in real-life ;)

If you're charged up with full suit then it doesn't kill you.Well,it doesn't kill me :|

By the way, the gravity gun's abillity to kill depends more on the weight of whatever you're hurling than anything else. A brick, for instance, is an instant kill no matter what health/suit you have.

(I think)

A harpoon might be a better example.

Brick?lol I sure hope not - I've never been hit by a brick before =P

Harpoon?I'm lost...

Go to Ravenholm and Whirl a brick to where the zombie's face should be.
Always fun.

I've finished both Half-life 2 and Half-life 2: Episode One and I have no intention of playing them again anytime soon since now I'm playing Deathmatch therefore visiting Ravenholm again is not possible...unless I'm really bored.

Anyway,Episode 2 is gunna be out soon.

i thought half life 2 WUZ episode 1. now i have to buy that as well!
also: do s-mod weapons count? cos u gotta luv hitting zombies with a spade.
bong!

Sorry, dude - you're behind the plot - better go get Episode One as soon as you can ;)

lol don't be mean and laugh at him - he has a lot of catching up to do  Uhhm,I wasn't laughing! *shifty eyes*
