cause the keyboard master Hunter 9200 kind of caught my eye and then i noticed that it had a ps2 connection, then i thought dayum, ps2 mice hump the big bamboo compared to usb's, will it be the same with keyboard response time? or does it change nothing at all with keyboards? thanks

I honestly have no idea. I wouldn't think there would be a difference but I would stick with PS/2.

I've never heard of any differences between how the keyboards connect. It's not like its an optical mouse that needs to scan at better and better rates. You hit a key, and it responds. nothing to improve upon.

It's only a "Blip" (Some 0s and 1s) that go every time you hit a button. I highly doubt there's any performance loss.

Dont use the ps2 get an XBOX!!!!!

Couldnt help myself :D

Also forget RAM, get a goat!!!!!!

I am of no use whatsoever

woah ^that post was useless.

anyway, a usb mouse will usually be faster then a ps/2 one, but there is little difference to all but the most hardcore of hardcore gamers. For a keyboard however, it is probably not such a great idea to use USB. Often your bios won't have recognized and enabled usb connections by the time you want to get into bios, thereby giving you no keyboard until usb is enabled. (which is some time later then ps2. Sorry if that confused you, perhaps it would be more correct to summarize:

Go ahead and get a PS2 keyboard, in fact, don't get a usb keyboard becuase it is more likely to have issues.

Yeah I don't think there would be a difference performance-wise but USB would definitely have more issues than a standard ps/2.
