You need 8 kb's upstream free for every 1 mb you want to download. I'm guessing that your upstream is 28kb/s so set your torrent clients maximum upload speed to 12 kb/s and you should hit maximum speeds, provided there are people to upload it to you at them of course.

Oh, I will. I'll be trying out the new weapons and trying to learn the terrain so that when the rest of the community gets it, I'll be ahead of them. Plus, it'll give me some time to mess with the graphical settings to see what runs best on my rig.

this isn't really a bad thing... it means we will have the option of getting the demo sooner than the 10th if we want to.

There has been some kind of semi-official info almost EVERY DAY this entire week leading some to believe that the demo would be released that day. I wouldn't count it out...but I wouldn't count on it either.

EDIT: You'd think that if Gamespot was going to be having one the of the biggest demos of the year before anybody else they'd yell it from the treetops. Not a peep out of their site.
