Norton Internet Security blocking everything

It was all fine until this morning. Even though I have it configured, which applications to block and which to permit, now it blocks everything and I haven't changed any options.

Any suggestions? Maybe I'll reinstall but if there's a quick fix I'd like to use it.

EDIT: Actually now I removed firefox from the block/permit list and when I tried to browse the net with the firewall enabled it allowed it without asking me! Now everything is working with Norton enabled. Even when I remove an application from the block/permit list and attempt to access the net with it, Norton allows me and doesn't notify me that there is an unknow app accessing the net. WTF?!

Mine did that. I had to turn it off whenever i wanted to use the net. Strangely it let Xfire and Bit comet through even though they were in the list.

I just choose not to use it now. The windows firewall will do.

I've got 2002.

I got rid of it as well. Too many problems and too many system resources always in use, even when turned "off".

Now it's Windows Firewall (and router firewall) and AVG Virus for me.
