we were all in voice chat a few days ago with icarus and he was reading our first posts to us, since many of us have been here for a year and a half or so, it was very interesting. my first post was a stupid "will my comp run hl2?" thing, but my 2nd and 3rd ones were pretty interesting. post here if you have been here for over 6 months and would like icarus to find your first post and post it here for everyone to see, hopefully he will agree to this (please post my first couple of posts too icarus)

I've been here since a little before september, I think my real join date is August 2003, for some reason when the website was recreated my account was deleted, but posts by exoeight dating back to then should exist.

It's very easy to find your first post yourself, you know.
Go into advanced search, "Search be User Name", Show result as posts an ascending order. There you go.

No? I got more posts than you and it works for me....or does it have to do with time? Does it only work 6 months away? Then you should know that Icarus can't help you anymore, he's fired.

I've been looking long and hard at a similar Dell setup 'cos I haven't got the ready cash to build my own (plus the last PC I built was a 486 DX266(!) and need to go the finance route through my parents, who insist on a reputable company. It's the only way I can get a decent gamin/work rig that I can see, but I'd appreciate any suggestions of somewhere suitable in the UK.

Mine wasn't as bad as it could have been. I'd been reading at work for ages, but that was the thread that finally led me to join so I could ask my question. I also figured I'd want to join soon anyway to put up my thoughts on the soon to be released Half Life 2... after all, hype was building up somewhat and I needed to vent my enthusiasm somewhere
