every1 is comparing halo 2 and half life 2 so... i fort i wld compare em 4 each part

graphics=half life 2
sound=even
gameplay=half life 2
multiplayer=halo 2 (just)
replay value= half life 2 (just)
game length=half life 2
best single player=half life 2
story=half life 2
 
I'm sorry, I've got to agreewith PvtRyan on this. Not to mention that the IS a vs. thread. Not to mention that your grammar just gave me an anneurism.

Why only "just"? Half-life 2 can be modded, which gives it a kind of infinite replay value.
 
The World Is Not Enough: because HL2 fanboys know that this is the best PC game ever, they want to reach even higher: to conquer the best game ever. Which is impossible. Console games - oranges, PC games - apples. Still, all games are fruit :naughty: :D :D

I don't get it when people say that. from "i" to "I" involves moving your little finger a fraction of an inch. Loads of the words are shorter by one letter.
Sorry, it's a bit condescending, but... <shudders> Never mind.
 
just because they both start with H and end with a 2 doesnt mean they have to be compared :p

If everyone like you came on these forums and posted useless information like you on two games you've never played then you are wasting everyones time and filling up these forums with nothingless. And im sure you can only 'feel' the gameplay from playing the game...not from what you've seen...
 
Seriously...Shut...the...****...up...about HL2 vs Halo2, they are two very different games despite what people say about them, they will both be great games, sure HL2 is taking chances and so far has succeded about them, but Halo2 doesn't need to take chances, it will be a run of the mill shooter, but it will do EVERYTHING right, thus both games are different, yet will both be great games.
 
You're actually making HL2 fans look bad by posting such crap on a Halo forum - and just giving them more ammo to throw back :/

(I could also name various areas that I think Halo 2 will be superior to HL2, and vice versa - but can't be bothered anymore)
 
This is the Only Argument there is :

Half Life 2 > Halo 2
