I think I know what you're talking about, but I don't own the album. The Richard D James album is always pretty much his magnum opus to a lot of people. If you want a feel for his music nowadays, search for "Girl/Boy Song". If I recall correctly (in my intoxicated state), Polynomial C was a more ambient work. Or not. I can't remember. Any way, if it was ambient, then I'd go for his Selected Ambient Works Vol. 1 & 2 if that's what you were into.
