Now that Halo is over... (Possible Spoilers)

Was you happy with Halo 3? I definatly think it was the best game out of the trilogy. It wasn't AMAZING! but it was pritty dam good. Some of the atmosphere in the game was amazing. I had goose bumps lots of times throughout the game. It was also good overall fun.

Its nice to see a trilogy that sticks to itself throughout, many games evolve a lot graphically and loose any graphical or gameplay identity they had. Halo managed to keep that which was nice, along with the fact that Halo 3 has amazing graphics. Definatly not just Halo 2.5 when I played it. But saying that I saw my friend playing it on a standard TV and it did look pritty crappy.

The very last level, which was obviously straight from Halo 1 was a little... I mean, don't get me wrong it was fun. But it seemed a little... ok ok we need an ending Lets slap all these slabs together and add explosions.

Storyline... meh... what a joke. Never seen anything so inconsistant and random. But saying that games never have good story lines.

Overall, super fun game to play and definatly worth the money.

You mean the number scratched into that memorial? That was "117" if I'm not mistaken. MC is was Spartan candidate #117.

I think they're going to continue the franchise in shooters, they just might not call them "Halo" from here on out. If you beat the game on Legendary you see a small scene showing the remaining hull of the ship MC was in falling towards a planet that looks like it could be Onyx (from the books) or maybe a covenant world - possibly the Elite home world since it was just mentioned at the end of the game.

Hmmmm, weird. At the end (I completed it on normal) Master Cheif was just in the back of the big ship with his back against a box thingy. Then it went to the alien guy and he was getting into a ship... or something... Can't remember him falling onto any planet?

It's the scene you get for beating it on Legendary.

I'd like to know what ended up happening to the rest of the Covenant's former members? Did they all just go home and cry? I imagine the grunts did but I think the rest are a bit more mature.
