lol yeah I just played a round. ITs too bad its not for hl2 but wtv. I must say the changes arent that darastic. Graphicaly I see no difference. Gameplay sensory chamber has added a little. Cloaking is definitely alot better considering you can walk anywhere without anything hitting you including up to an electrified building. Very useful if combined with regeneration to parasite an entire base and group of marines.

Otherwise 3.0 doesnt really give me more satisfaction the the previous version. Either way I still love NS.

Meh it's okay... I haven't played in almost two years so I'm obviously very rusty, but it still doesnt' feel right

Glad they got something new out the door though.

This is for Half-Life 1... They said they will do a DIRECT port of it to Source (which means same graphics but on the new engine... So think of it like Half-Life:Source but with NS...) and then I'm not sure if they said they would update graphics then after that.

But yea I want to see NS2 in action later on I think they messed up NS1 too much and its beyond repair IMHO.... It doesn't feel the same to me as it did in the old days FUN-wise...

I've been playing about 20 games tonight with having SC as the first chambers and i've won as alien the majority of the time. From what i've seen the reduced priced scan really counters the new cloak pretty well if you have a good comm.

I love it. It's very original and fun. It's not the best mod, but it is pretty good.

The new SC servers more as an annoyance than a viable starter chamber as anyone who knew what they were doing could see cloaked aliens before in all but the darkest areas of a map and the same is no different now.

Okay, I've downloaded it, installed it... But i can still only play beta5? Can't join 3.0 servers, and can't seem to start 3.0 up... It doesn't appear in "3rd party games" in Steam, like my beta5 does.

What should I do?
