Looks like a graphics card alright!

It seems Nvidia has invested some time and money into making it a one slot card. Now, I want to see what its capable of producing as far as graphics are concerned. Afterall, we don't buy them to admire their silicon and metal arrangements. Will this card be featuring 512MBs?
 
Need I remind people of the difference between a 'screen' and a 'photo' ?

Funnily enough, that new card looks more like something from the late 90s than the latest graphics card.

What's it supposed to look like? A graphics card is a graphics card. Their main purpose isn't to look beautiful. However, if you like showy graphics cards then I'm sure ASUS or the other manufacturers will design something that suits your needs. :thumbs:

Sure its a single slot solution, but undoubtably SLI compatible too.....
My squirrel cage PCI fan is nearly silent....

Yes it will it was built to support 512 but it will ship with 256. You will be able to buy the 512 later.
 
Could someone explain the benefits of "single-slot"?

I have no idea... :\
