Been waiting for this for a while, finally we get some specs.

nForce 4 will feature support for all AMD k8 processors (Athlon64 / FX53 / Opteron) including dual-cpu arrangements - it also supports dual PCI-Express slots (useful for nVidia SLI dual graphics boards)

One of the best features is the re-introduction of SoundStorm after it's exclusion from the nForce 3 chipset - Now it's called SoundStorm 2 - suggesting it's even better than the seemingly unbeatable original!

This will be a killer chipset, and I can't wait to get my hands on the nForce4 board ASUS come up with.

:bounce:

Pobz, my thoughts exactly. Dual PEG slots? Good. SoundStorm? Good. K8? Good. ASUS? Gooooood.

The A7N8X is one of the best desktop motherboards of all time. I don't think we'll be disappointed.

Ditto.

I am wondering what they did to Soundstorm that deserves a "2" behinds its name.

Looks like I'm gonna have to upgrade my mobo sooner than I thought. :-P
