you need a PCI express slot on your motherboard

If you have an AGP slot on your motherboard its garunteed that you wont have a PCI express slot and therefor cannot use a PCI express graphics card.

Not to mention that upgrading your mobo to a mobo with a PCI-Express slot probably means upgrading your CPU. But maybe not, but probably.

dont worry about upgrading to PCI-E just yet, it wont make a difference till late 05/06.
