I have the mask of truth but I can't figure out how to use it right, I heard you can use it as old link but I can't. Help

You can only use masks as kid Link. The Mask of Truth allows you to communicate with gossip stones. (The large grey ones with the cyclops eye). They'll tell you little tidbits of info on Hyrule and it's people.

But then what's the thing about the well and seeing the truth?

Ohhhh, that's a different item entirely. Here's a hint: as Adult Link go to the windmill in Kakariko Village and stand in front of the music man. Take out your Ocarina and you'll learn a song.

From there, hop in the Delorean and go back in time.....

I'm pretty sure you have to learn Song of Storms and play it to open the well or something like that.

I dunno, I haven't played the game in forever :\.

I've already got the song of storms, I'm in the well, I have the mask of truth. Nothing happens.

When you say you're in the well, do you mean "floating in the well"?

Or do you mean, "in the secret dungeon beneath Kakariko village which I accessed via the well"?


If the former is the case, I suggest you leave the Well alone for now and go check out the Windmill...

Well, if you're IN the Well, then you just have to do a really annoying mini-dungeon that takes about an hour.

I'm in the secret dungeon with the skeleton with Navi telling me the spirits are saying to see the truth or something.

Yeah, ok, you're in the right place then. Just dick around in there until you get the Lens.

 

[Noobulon]

Some of the walls/floors in that place are illusions, you can pass straight through them.
It's a small dungeon, so the item ain't far away...
