odd mouse problem

my mouse has been screwin up lately...like in games i click once to shoot something but then if keeps shooting after i left go, as if i was still holding down the click button. even on internet bars it highlights things when i scroll up and down pages and i have to click a few times for it to stop...but of course it does it soon after

i restarted my comp but i think its my mouse...its not really fancy, was 10 bucks at frys and ive had it for quite a while now. maybe its just time for a new mouse?

The key is most likely sticking to the contact (ie: when you let go, it sticks to the constact so the mouse still believes you are holding the key). Clean the sides of the keys, since that's where most of the sweat can cause stickness, if that doesn't help, get a new mouse, they are cheap cheap cheap.

Yea, just spend 10-20 for a new mouse, probably the receiver under your clickerdingy is stuck, you could take it apart and clean it...or....just skip seeing Aliens vs Predators and get a new mouse.
