Oddest/Craziest thing to happen in a movie theater.

It was already a pretty empty theater, but we stayed until the credits...I got up halfway through them. Everybody had already left.

I was watching Drag Me To Hell with my brother. Theater was pretty empty and two young women sat down a few aisles in front of us. They had an infant and a toddler with them, so my first reaction was thinking "You take your baby to a movie called Drag Me To Hell?", but whatever. Throughout the first half the toddler is constantly kicking the chair in front of him and the sound was reverberating all throughout the room. I swear you could still hear him even when the film was practically screaming at you. I held my tongue for a while because I didn't want to be "that guy" and cause a scene, but it got to be too much.

After asking them to make him stop, they ignored me. When I told her to control her kid a second time, she and her pal stood up, turned around, and one declared
"FIRST OF ALL, YOU ****IN' CRACKA: THAT AIN'T MY ****IN' KID"

...Okay? Among the other various verbal exchanges we had, she told me to suck her pussy wart, which was weird. I don't know why you'd want to broadcast that. I took it up with management and had them thrown out, during which they threatened they'd have their boyfriends outside waiting for us. As you can tell, I'm still alive. =P

I heard this story off someone recently, thought it was kind of funny...Apparantly while The Silence of the Lambs was showing in cinemas, Anthony Hopkins used to go see it all the time. About halfway through the film he would lean forward and speak to the person in front of him, in Hannibal Lector's voice. It generally resulted in that person running out of the cinema screaming. I don't know if that's true or not but it's a good story

My friend puked in a theater right next to me and we left the theater. another time this fat black lady next to me wouldn't stop talking on her cell phone and everyone told her to shut the f up. And another time I got kicked out for being underage but nothing extreme.
